Maryland Center for Foreign Investment: A Federally Designated EB-5 Regional Center

MCFI is an EB-5 “Regional Center” designated by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) pursuant to INA Section 610 of the Appropriations Act of 1993.  This Regional Center includes counties within and around Baltimore, Maryland (the “Baltimore Region”) and offers investment opportunities to foreign investors under the USCIS EB-5 Immigrant Investors Visa Program (the “Program”).  MCFI invests in projects in Maryland to promote the vibrant economic environment of Maryland and to create jobs directly from these projects.

By investing through the MCFI Regional Center, the complications of the EB-5 process are simplified.  An eligible investor will meet the eligibility requirements by investing the $500,000 in a "targeted employment area" projects selected by MCFI.
